Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about hormone optimization and our telehealth services

Getting Started

Do you accept patients outside of Florida?

We're focused on serving patients who reside in Florida for now. We encourage you to check back for updates on future service areas.

How does your telehealth model work?

Our telehealth model is designed for your convenience. Your journey begins with a virtual consultation where we discuss your health history and goals. We then send you a lab order to be drawn at a local Quest Diagnostics facility. After reviewing your results via a follow up telehealth visit, our medical team creates a personalized treatment plan. Your prescription is then handled by a partner pharmacy, which ships your medication directly to your home.

How much does it cost to get started?

Getting started costs $150, which includes your initial 30 minute telehealth consultation and a comprehensive lab panel testing 60+ biomarkers. After your initial visit, ongoing monthly care is $99 all inclusive, which covers your medication, supplies, follow up labs, and regular check ins with your provider.

Do you accept insurance?

We operate as a cash pay practice and do not accept insurance. This allows us to focus on optimizing your health rather than treating disease. Insurance companies often require hormone levels to be critically low before approving treatment and rarely cover the comprehensive testing needed for safe, effective therapy.

By working directly with you, we can order the right tests, prescribe effective doses, and get you to optimal levels, not just "normal" ones.

What's included in my monthly subscription?

Your $99 monthly subscription includes everything you need:

  • All prescribed medications (testosterone, peptides, etc.)
  • Injection supplies and needles
  • Follow-up lab work to monitor your levels
  • Ongoing provider consultations and adjustments
  • Direct communication with your care team
  • Medication shipped directly to your door

Treatment & Safety

What is Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)?

Hormone Replacement Therapy is a medical treatment that helps to restore hormone levels to an optimal state. For men, this often involves testosterone, and for women, it typically includes estrogen and progesterone. By balancing these hormones, HRT can effectively alleviate symptoms like fatigue, low libido, and mood swings, helping you feel healthier and more vibrant.

Is HRT safe?

When administered and monitored by qualified medical professionals, HRT is a safe and effective treatment. We conduct thorough initial assessments and provide continuous follow up care to monitor your hormone levels and overall health. This personalized approach ensures your treatment plan is optimized for both safety and effectiveness.

Who is a good candidate for these therapies?

Both men and women experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance may be good candidates. These can include unexplained fatigue, difficulty with weight management, decreased libido, and mood changes. Our comprehensive lab work and initial consultation will determine if HRT or peptide therapy is the right option to help you achieve your health goals.

What are the side effects of testosterone therapy?

Most patients tolerate testosterone therapy very well when properly monitored. Possible side effects can include acne, increased red blood cell count, and mood changes. This is why we require regular lab work to monitor your levels and adjust your protocol as needed.

We also monitor estrogen levels closely, as testosterone can convert to estrogen in some patients, which may require additional management.

How long does it take to see results?

Most patients begin noticing improvements within 3 to 6 weeks of starting treatment. Energy levels and mood typically improve first, followed by changes in body composition, libido, and overall wellbeing. Full optimization can take 3 to 6 months as we fine tune your protocol based on your lab results and symptoms.

Will I need to stay on hormone therapy forever?

Hormone therapy is typically a long term commitment for most patients, as hormone production naturally declines with age. However, treatment is always your choice. Some patients choose to stay on therapy indefinitely to maintain optimal levels, while others may cycle off or adjust their protocols over time. We'll work with you to create a plan that aligns with your goals.

Peptides & Advanced Therapies

What are Peptides?

Peptides are naturally occurring chains of amino acids that act as messengers in the body, telling cells how to function. Unlike hormones, they don't replace anything, but instead, they stimulate the body's own natural processes. This can be used to achieve specific health goals, such as improving recovery, supporting muscle growth, or enhancing sleep.

What peptides do you offer?

We currently offer Sermorelin, a peptide therapy that stimulates your body's natural growth hormone production. Sermorelin is excellent for supporting recovery, improving sleep quality, and promoting overall wellness and vitality.

Your provider will discuss whether Sermorelin is right for you based on your health goals and lab results.

Can I combine peptides with hormone therapy?

Yes, many patients combine peptides with hormone therapy for enhanced results. Peptides and hormones work through different mechanisms, so they can complement each other well. Your provider will create a customized protocol that safely integrates both therapies if appropriate for your goals.

Medications & Prescriptions

Is Cialis or Viagra Safe to Use?

Yes, both Cialis (tadalafil) and Viagra (sildenafil) are considered safe and highly effective for most men when prescribed and used under the guidance of a healthcare professional. They have been extensively studied and are widely used to treat erectile dysfunction.

However, like all prescription medications, they are not suitable for everyone. It is crucial to have a confidential consultation with a doctor to ensure these treatments are safe for you.

Our sexual health packages always begin with a comprehensive medical evaluation to ensure the prescribed medication is a safe and effective option for your individual health.

Do you prescribe injections or creams?

We offer both injection and cream options for testosterone therapy. Injections are typically preferred because they provide more stable hormone levels and better results for most patients. However, creams can be a good option for those who prefer not to inject or have difficulty with injections. Your provider will discuss the pros and cons of each method during your consultation.

Where do your medications come from?

All medications are prescribed by our licensed providers and sourced from licensed, FDA registered compounding pharmacies. We partner with reputable pharmacies that specialize in hormone therapy to ensure you receive high quality, pharmaceutical grade medications.

How often will I need to inject?

Injection frequency depends on your specific protocol, but most patients inject testosterone 1 to 2 times per week. More frequent injections (like twice weekly) tend to provide more stable hormone levels and fewer side effects. Your provider will determine the best schedule based on your lab results and how you respond to treatment.
